I love February!!! Can you believe it it's almost Valentine's then my oldest son will be entering into the TEENAAAAAAAAAGE world!!!!YIIIIIIKE's. I cannot believe my baby boy will be 13 years old....look at him holding a picture of him as a baby and him now,,,isn't he "cuuuute". Time does go by. "Baby boy mama loves you more then you'll ever know....

I can just cry and eat a box full of KRISPY KREME'S!!!

Ok, so I have to take my husband's car to get checked this morning. His brakes were making "noise" and he said his steering wheel was rubbing?? Soooo I go get there 8:00, it's wet and slightly drizzly, I look like a bear in my coat and sweatshirt and I'm cold!!! Get the pic,LOL...The guy tells me he'll be out in an hour to let me know what's up and how much??. Sooo in the little room I go to sit and wait. You ever been in those dealer waiting rooms, this one was small and get this NO COFFEE!!! About an 1 1/2 later I get called out and the guy says "you need front brakes and the racknpin(something like that) in the steering wheel needs to be replaced, it's $1200.00, I say scuuuuuuuuuuuuze me did you say $12 00 not $12.00, one thousand two hundred dollars!!! yes mam!!! HOLY MOTHER OF FRICKING THE ONE WHO CREATED THE EARTH!!!!! ok I thought that but didn't say it out loud!!lol....so immediately I get a stomach ache, I seriously want to cry. My husband is a teacher he works so hard for me to stay home, I was just shocked at the price. So I ask the guy can you tell my husband, he said sure. I call school they transfer me into his class I hand the phone and I can tell my husband is asking a lot of questions....the guy finally says how much. More questions by my husband of course. The guy laughs and covers the phone and says to me "your husband just told his class that he's on a emergency personal call get your books out read a story he doesn't care which story just sit be quiet and read"...lol....that my friends is stress speaking out loud. Hope his class's were well behaved today after this phone call. Sooooooo I get the phone back he ask me how are we going to pay I tell him we have the $$ that was to be used to paint the trim on the house. Sooooo there ya go we have to use that $$. I need another job, ohhh yeah I got hired as a part time merchandiser for Hawwaiin Tropics. ;o).....I can clean a mean toilet and cook mexican food anyone need a maid!!!ugh....The thing is my husband just got a 5% raise and BAM we get hit with this. By the way we spent $800 in Dec and $600 in Oct on the same car!!!! Time to wrap myself in a blanket and eat a pot of rice pudding!!!!

Ovey,,,,is all I can say!!!! Today's show is of course to be about "working mom's and stay at home mom's". Seeing the brief commercials on it yesterday looks like it gets purrrdy heated!! Ok this is MY OPINION and since it's my BLOG I can say what I want!!LOL First I say WE STAY AT HOME MOM'S WORK!!! I understand that there are women that have to work outside the home full time, but ya know I'm really beginning to doubt that in some cases. I think there are families that the mom's have to stay working in order to pay for those "cars, bigger house, current name brand clothes for kids, current games, vacations in the summer, etc.... I dunno I say if you really don't have to work and your only working BECAUSE YOU SAY YOU'LL LOSE YOUR IDENTITY if you don't,,,GET OVER YOURSELF. After I watch the show I'll throw in some more of MY opinions.....hehehe

Ok so I watched let's just say it was disappointing. Let me just say this, not every working mom can do what I do, nor do I think they even want to hence them going to work. The show basically was asking can working mom's have it all. The working mom's seem to think they can, but to me you either give 100% to your job or your family if your working you have to give 100% to your job and your family will suffer. Oprah had on some anchor woman last name "Vargas" they tried to say she made a AGONIZING decesion to stay home, first off she went from ABC ANCHOR WOMAN to working for 20/20, so to me she's not a sahm??? And give me a break why does the decision have to be agonizing?? I'll never forget when I looked at my oldest son at 6 weeks and thought NO WAY am I going to put him in daycare I wanted him so much I could give up my career for HIM!!! ok enough about this..lol

You gotta just LIVE OUT LOUD!!!

Happy New Year!!!! ok ok so I'm late....

Sheeeeesh where does the time go? Already into the new year and it's looking crazy. Boy I sure dream of the "simpler" times when my kids were younger and they woke up stayed in there jammies all morning (ok me to). Would set up there toy's on the fireplace and play play play. Now Jake is in 7th and Cole in 6th and Cheyenne is in 4th!!!My how time flies.

For those mama's reading this that have little one's crying at your feet or screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for the 25th time in five minutes, ENJOY it!! Seriously it goes by fast I know when your in that "season" you never think that moment will go, but it does trust me. I miss my baby boys and baby girl, I miss talking, laughing and just hanging out with them during the day. I can remember back then I use to wish I worked just so I could get a break or go to the bathroom by myself without someone walking in with a plate of food telling me THEY DIDN'T WANT TO EAT the YUCKY MAC AND CHEESE anymore!!LOL Ok my kids maybe older but they still insist on following me to the bathroom and standing at the bathroom door talking to me!!LOL.. Children are the best thing God every created!!! Enjoy them and just SIT AND PLAY WITH THEM you will be glad you did. The dishes, dust and laundry will always be there and need to be done but your babies will never be that age again!!!

I promised pic's in my last post, sorry no time lately to upload I have uploaded a few. Here is one of my fav's. I'd like you to meet the BEST PARENTS EVER, my mom and dad. They have been married 51 years and my mom was and still is a HAPPYHOUSEWIFE. She had nine children and stayed home and raised all of us!!! My dad was the provider and we never were without food or a home. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD for rasing me and loving me always, I LOVE YOU.....

Where have I been......

Amazing how one can get so busy with the Holiday's. Since my last post so much has happened. I have lot's of picture's to share, of course can't do that until I upload them...ugh...

December has come and gone, as one get's "less younger" seems they come and go faster. I just want the pace of life to slow down, I don't know if it's living in California but the pace is just to fast for me. I love reading this one sahm's blog who lives in "NC". They moved from a big beautiful house to a house 1/2 it's size and older located on a farm, but you know she could not sound happier, they have three children and reading her blog it just sounds she is really enjoying her life raising her kids and being a wife. May sound simple to some, but to me sounds just peaceful and happy. OOOh how I pray to have a place like that, someday.

Until my next post, promise it will be soon, gotta post pics..hehehe.

42 years ago todayyyyyyy........

I entered this world. THIS SHOULD BE A MAJOR CELEBRATING KINDA DAY, dont'cha think!!!lol....ok ok I can be a little "full" of myself for one day, can't I??..

WOW just seeing, saying and hearing that number amazes me. I mean hellooooooo I AM NOWWWW F O U R T Y T W O years old!!!!Kinda weird I still feel like 20!! So now instead of saying i'm getting old I say "less younger"heheheh that's what my Grandma Marie always says.

Awww I love my life, my kids and yes of course my husband of 23 years!!! Dannnng I've been married half my life.

So today my friend Virginia took me to Mimi's cafe for breakfast then we went to Best Buy to see what there having on sale on Friday (yes I am one of those nuts out there) although I don't buy much I just like to "be" out amongst them!!lol...by the way if anyone needs a computer one will be on sale friday for $189.00 YES $189.00 but there's only five in our store and like 500 peeps waiting outside to get in!!!

My mom called me and told me what she was craving and ate when I was born which was ENCHILADA's!! My sister, maria, karen, Debster, and all my friends on the HHC message board wished me a HAPPY DAYYY!!!

The only bummer,is my husband signed up for his teacher duty today which was to chaperone three basketball games at his high school, he does it in one day to get it over and done with. OF COURSE he picked today he said he didn't realize it was MY day until like two weeks ago when he had to tell me.....Sooo he has instructed my kids they have to take me to dinner and he's paying!!!lol....

So I end with this, enjoy every moment, don't sweat the small stuff, enjoy your kids the dust, dishes and wash will be there tomorrow. Life is short, remember to laugh often with your girlfriends, make time for yourself make every moment count!!!

Ok so yes I have been a bad blogger, sorry, been crazy busy!!! This past weekend was of course Veteran's Day,,,,I SALUTE and Honor all the men and women who have served and are serving now!!! Thank you for your service!!!

This weekend was also my daughters 9th birthday!!! Wow amazing how time flys as we get LESS YOUNGER as my Grandma Marie would say. Awww just saying that name makes me smile. She is a beautiful woman, I will have to tell her story, my grandma has dimentia and it is a very sad thing to see a loved one lose there memory....I'll blog later about that.

So my daughter's day turned into a weekend!!! I took her and her two little friends to go see Santa Clause III totally funny move, I love anything about christmas!!! Then went to eat at Red Robin, came home went to a boutique bought a few things. Saturday I cleaned and went to another boutique bought a few items, then stayed up until the weeeee hours of the morning chatting with my bestest friend THE DEBSTER and SHE IS NUTZ FOR PERRY,,,,,STEVE PERRY THAT IS!!! I wrapped my daughters gifts for sunday, straightened up and went to bed at 2:00a.m.....Woke up sunday morning at 7:15 started making dd's cake she wanted a dolphin cake, it came out cute at least I think so and she like it, so that's all that matters, right. We celebrated her birthday about 11:00 with presents and cake. Didn't eat the cake it was to early. I then got ready for my PAMPERED CHEF show at my friends house, turned out great and we had a lot of fun!!! Came home made dinner, ate and finished typing my husband's papers!!! Totally a long weekend, glad it's monday and now it's back to cleaning this place!!!!

Tomorrow is recycle day!!! oooooo joy!!! Until my next not so exciting blog,,,,remember do something for you, get a pedicure or go to your fav coffee place get a cup of tea/coffee and sit and chill and ponder on the beautiful day God has given you!!!

A field trip, a dance and a cookie dough kinda day!!!

Ok so off I go driving to Jurupa for a archeoligical dig with my 6th grader son. Now I went on this fieldtrip last year, and it's interesting for about the first 10 minutes but then is completely "mindnumbing" afterwards. Thank goodness I had my friend Virginia with me, we yapped the whole time and enjoyed ourselves!!!LOL...

So now I'm thinking of my other sone the 7th grader who is now at his FIRST DANCE!!!!whaaaaaaaaaaaa when did he grow up!!!!NO IT'S NOT ALLOWED, I tell you something is wrong when one minute your "baby boy" is needing your help to cut his pancakes and the next he's asking you if he can go to a dance!!!!NO THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!! I can't be getting old!!!LOL....Of course I can't get pictures because my son says I HAVE ENOUGH!!! HA I don't have any of him dancing....ooooooo how I wish I could be the character from the FANTASTIC FOUR and be invisible!!! I NEED A PICTURE!!! I WANT A PICTURE....lol I pick him up at 4:00pm and hopefully he will have something to say besides "it was ok"!!!!

Then I am offering my services at the elementary to hand out cookie dough!!! FUN FUN!!!NOT......it's not so fun job I'll be there from 4:30 to 7:00 waiting on parents to come pick up there dough,,,,,maybe after seeing so much cookie dough I'll get sick of it and forever vow not to eat COOKIES!!!!!!....hmmm MAYBE NOT!!!LOL

IT'S NOVEMBER!!!!

Ok can you believe it!!! October just zipped by. So on the agenda this month I have high hopes of getting some things done around the house and celebrating one of my favorite holidays THANKSGIVING!!!

Today is the day to pull out my "decorations" and do some serious dusting. Saying that word "dusting" makes me cringe,,,I hate dusting..lol

I sure hope it gets coole, we've had some great weather lately but it's time for some cooler weather the kind that you can stay inside put on your fav toasty outfit mine would be my velour pants and a sweatshirt!! Make some homemade soup or your favorite comfort foood...ok now I've made myself hungry!HA!

So time to get your decorations out if you haven't already, start planning your Thanksgiving dinner (yes it's never to early). Enjoy your home today and have a great day!!!

ok so this is one of the "critters" we get here in Southern California. That is my husband cutting the head off. The snake was right next to my son's basketball hoop, can you say "eeeeeeeeks"...I hate those things big time dead and alive!!!!

It's Monday!!!!

Ok so after a looooooong weekend I'm off to a pretty good start for a Monday!!! I love Monday's, why you ask, BECAUSE I HAVE THE HOUSE TO MYSELF!!! That said, I have lot's of cleaning to do and getting stuff ready for tomorrow, it's HALLOWEEN. I was reading one of my favorite scrapper blogs. Her name is Heidi Swapp and she is so cool, creative and a great mom, her kids are to cute. Her latest edition is her little girl named "Capri" how cute is that. Look at the cutest clock she did, I am so going to that. I plan on doing one for my mom, of course she will cry. She always cries when "her" kids give her presents??lol.

I found my house!!!!

ok so I'm reading this blog and I think THAT'S IT, that's my porch!!!! DH and I are completely different in everything and house's is one of them. I always say when we get to heaven my house will be the one with the huge porch a chair and blankey on it!!!That's it!! nothing but the front of the house. He's a collector of stuff if I'd let him he could fill this house up in 2seconds flat collecting anything and everything!!but that's another story.

Ok so isn't that house beautiful!!! That is what I've had in my mind, so now I have to find a way to pay for it and build it. A girl can dream......

what a goof, in all my excitement about "Grey's Anatomy" uhhh I sorta kinda forgot that yesterday was wednesday and today is acutally THURSDAY!!!LOL....sooooooo tonight is the night to sit and chill with my fav show and a nice cup of tea!!!
