Does that not just take the wind right out of you. Couple of reason for not posting lately the title of this post being one of them. Before I explain I DON'T have cancer but my brother did. I like to say past tense because I know he's going to beat this.
The middle of september my younger sister called me and said my younger brother who is 33 was admitted to the hospital. I am one of eight children there are four boys and four girls, I'm the middle child. She explained they were running test but he wasn't able to keep anything down and started vomiting blood. His wife and my sister have been there thru everything. Can I say HOSPITAL's suck to!!! Long story short my brother had a tumor the size of a softball that the Dr's said had been growing for three years. Note::: my brother goes to the dr's regularly because of his colitis he's had since the age of 16. Last year when they tried to do a colonoscopy they couldn't finish because he started bleeding. Due to the kind of insurance my brother has he get's CRAPPY SUCKY CARE!!! it's really just pisses me off!!! Ok ok to the point, so they removed the tumor (which was cancerous) part of his muscle in his back, all of his colon except for a few inches (he doesn't have to have a colon bag forget what the technical name is). HE'S 33 did I say that, actually he turned 34 on the 9th HAPPY BIRTHDAY T. After the surgery they had to test his lymphnode to see if it reached that if it did they say "that's not good" we had received the call two weeks ago that it came back negative!!!Thank you Jesus!!! So he's home for about a week and is admitted again this time for swollen feet due to not getting enough protein. Remember no colon?? yeah that's why God put it there so that the food we eat the nutrients takes it time and get's where it needs to go. Sooo they admit him, he's still there and really wanting to go home. He's weighs all of 120 pounds and it about 5'7. So when you pray plesae pray for him that he gets the best Dr's that know what there doing and the best care while he's in the hospital. He also has seven children keep them in prayer and his wife to.
While having that on my mind I also started a part time job with state farm insurance working for a high school friend. The above really brought the importance of making sure were insured properly and that if anything were to happen to me or dh that my kids would be taken care of. I also have learned this company offers a lot of other products besides auto insurance. So if any of you two readers need a quote or help understanding your policies email me and I'll have my friend give you a call.
Just busy with my kids sports, homework and keeping up the house!!! Yeah to my 7th grader who brought home a progess report with 4 A's and 2 B's my 8th grader 3 A's 2 B's 1 C (uGH MATH)!!! My dd hasn't gotten her progress yet I go for conferance the 19.
